Time

It's quite amazing how much things can change in a few months, let alone years. I've been thinking about this more lately after looking over old pictures and also scavenging the internets for outdated information that needs to be updated. Things even seem to be changing faster these days than I expected.

For example, I'm going through a website that process payments for a local event that took place last April. Not only did the hosting server change (including the url), but I also noted how dated some of my humor had become. Mainly I find this with the line:

I know you college kids try not to read anything longer than a tweet or facebook status update these days.

Not only does it make me think of the terminology being dated in the future, but also thinking of the various other social networking sites and forums I have belonged to over the years. Some things to miss, others *cough*myspace*cough* are gladly forgotten.

I've been enjoying data transmission since D-to-the-O-to-the-S and BBS. Sadly though, it seems the more people that join the more intertwined and outdated things become at a faster pace. Damn you price of progress!

Anyway, back to making a cheap html site for cheap money.
